The men of Beta Tau are back from what proved to be one of the hottest and fun summers to date. After undergoing an innovative and revamped Rush under recruitment chair Zach Harris, the men of Beta Tau have once again proven that they are among the best fraternities at North Carolina State University. Along with what has become a Rush staple event, dinner at Sammy's Tap and Grill, Harris included events such as a trip to a Durham Bulls Game, a cookout at the future fraternity house site, and a dinner at Jimmy V's Steakhouse. With a current count of thirteen quality men, Beta Tau is pleased to usher in a group that looks to continue on the fraternity's long tradition of excellence. As a part of the candidate process, the new recruits will take their traditional trip up to headquarters in the coming weeks.
In other news, the men of Beta Tau are looking forward to the current football season. This year, Sigma Nu is stepping up their game when it comes to tailgating at Carter Finley on game day. With the grill hot, the beverages cold, and the music rockin', tailgating never looked or sounded so good.
Lastly, the chapter has voted to switch chapter meetings from Monday nights at 7pm to Sunday nights at 7pm. This move increases the amount of brothers who are able to attend chapter who otherwise couldn't due to class or work conflicts.
